Removing the little connector is simple. Just lift the black part of the connector. The hinge is in the middle so lift it until it stands up full (90 degrees) Then you can remove the cable easily. Insert the new cable en press the black part down so it can lock the cable.
Pretty good video, apart from skipping over removing the touchscreen connector,which can be a bit fiddly.

Hi your touch screen doesn’t work because the adapter (the first large on unplugged from the board) hasn’t been pressed on properly. Simple fix. Great tutorial minus sim and sd card removal
First of all, its not my phone, I was fixing it for a friend, and second of all its not broken, despite this awful tutorials best efforts. Thirdly, id argue that anyone who is looking at this video has got something they want fixing on their phone, who needs to fix something on a phone that is fresh out the box? You cant break a phone without using it and you cant use a phone without a sim. You all know im right so stfu
And you expect that each phone you order has a SD and SIM card? If you do not order it from a provider, it doens’t have any of them. Couldn’t you just think a few moments more before beating the shit out of your phone and wreck it by yourself?

Video didn’t show when or how to remove the digitiser ribbon and I consequently tore it when removing the digitiser.
como comentario puedes utilizar tambien un encendedor a flama regular, calentando por las orillas, dandole buelta sin detenerte, en cuanto notes que el cristal esta mas caliente que tibio, puedes retirarlo con la ayuda de una navaja cutter, cuidando de no tocar el display, da buen resultado tambien.
Good vid, however anyone trying to replace the screen you might need a small pair of tweezers to pop the screen connector into it’s connector 3.24 (a Bitch)!. Also the two tags that are on the side of the phone, 1.22 to 1.30, they are not connected to anything, they are just lightly tacked on the casing with glue. Oh and I didn’t need a heat gun to remove screen, just a thin piece of plastic eg plectrum or side of a plastic pill packet.
How long should I heat the phone? I cannot take off the touch screen. :/
