If you are looking for a touch screen phone that is high on style and yet economical, then LG Cookie is a perfect choice for you. On the other hand, if you want to buy a high end phone, which is high on functionalities apart from being high on style, then Samsung Omnia will be a perfect match for you.

The prices of both these phones vary greatly and this is the first difference between them. LG Cookie is very basic in price when compared to Samsung Omnia, but so are its functions. The price difference is so much that you can buy almost three LG Cookie phones in the price of one Omnia.

LG Cookie is a sleek phone having a touch screen of 3 inches. It does not have buttons in its front panel. Keeping in mind its price, the screen of Cookie is pretty decent and sensitive. A stylus is available with the phone, if you don’t want to use your fingers.

Samsung Omnia is much better than the other one in terms of screen and screen size. It has got a 3.2 inch touch screen WQVGA display. You can compare it with the display property of Vista. The drag and drop facilities of this phone is among the best available in the market these days. In terms of connectivity, Omnia works on HSDPA at 7.2 Mbps whereas LG Cookie supports EDGE network. However, both of these phones lack 3G connectivity. Bluetooth and USB are present in both the phones. However, Cookie does not have a Wi-Fi support which Omnia has.

LG Cookie has a camera of 3MP having autofocus feature. It clicks amazing pictures especially in the outdoor environment. The in-built camera of Omnia is even better (5 MP) and click photos of much better quality.

Cookie and Omnia have video and audio playback features. However, Cookie can play videos only in MPEG format, whereas Omnia has got multi codec video playback and can play videos of MPEG4, DivX, WMV and XVid formats.

Both these phones have lot of difference for the very reason that they don’t fall in same category or same price range.
