  • This Filter Kit Includes 3 Filters : FILTER PL: Polarizers let you acheive vibrant color saturation, reduce or eliminate glare and reflections from non-metallic objects and glass surfaces, and minimize haze.
  • FILTER UV: Protects your camera’s lens from scratches, dust, dirt, moisture, and fingerprints, while reducing unwanted ulra-violet light.
  • FILTER FD: The F-DL fluorescent light correction filter gives true-to-life color rendition by removing the harsh yellow-green cast ordinarily resulting from fluorescent bulbs. When shooting under natural light, a fluorescent filter dramatically increases color satruation of subjects.
  • Multi-coated optical glass for enhanced optical resolution , Includes protective carrying case, Includes DB ROTH Micro Fiber Cleaning Cloth
  • *Please Note: Adapter tube or ring will be provided if needed

The filter can be rotated to determine the amount of reflection to be removed. Lens filters are translucent pieces of glass placed in front of a camera lens to alter or adjust the light entering the camera, and more importantly to protect the camera lens. Lens filters improve photographs by giving you control over light and allowing you to emphasize the features of a scene that you consider most important. This filter kit is a combination of the three essential filters no photographer should be

I would also like to see a movie sample done with the 18-200mm lens. I’m buying this camera FOR SURE and ALL the lenses that Samsung makes for this camera. I would love to use this with my Canon 5D Mark II and 1D Mark IV system as a C camera.

    looks like a nex

  • zd3132 May 21, 2012 at 2:46 am

where’s the f2.8 zoom and 1.4 prime – that’s what NX really need

  • gzeus May 21, 2012 at 3:32 am

AMOLED display? Not exactly a good idea for cameras. Sure, it looks pretty right now, but given that they still haven’t overcome the degradation issues, that sounds like a death sentence for any camera that gets reasonable amount of use (esp. for any that would rely exclusively on live view for framing).

Congratulate yourself-”What Digital Camera”, apart from the camera being “chi-sin”, the review was your best up to know!

  • ar4216 May 21, 2012 at 5:18 am

disappointed in the video capability when compared to the much cheaper Nex5n and very disappointed in the price. Having said that, the Samsung lens lineup is way better than the Nex lineup. Still, for me the 5N is a better camera- and it happens to be cheaper. For those not interested in video this might be a better camera.

  • Rawrfearmeh333 May 21, 2012 at 5:48 am

    Too many pixels

  • SLRist May 21, 2012 at 6:29 am

Why bother making the body so tiny and unmanageable when the lens is so huge. Pointless. 20MP? Really? I thought we’d gotten away from that pointless pixel arms race. Do you think the images will consequently look better than a D700 sporting a paltry 12MP FX sensor? Ooh, and look at the ubiquitous pancake lens designed solely for publicity purposes to make the camera appear something approaching pocketable.

When these these cameras both come out (Sony NEX-5N & Samsung NX200) Could you compare them against each other! Especially in the movie department. Thanks

  • jindiyou May 21, 2012 at 7:55 am

you can choose lower pixels in the menu. in fact, most of camera has it.

  • WhatDigitalCamera May 21, 2012 at 8:21 am

Pre-production, so they wouldn’t let us put a card in it, but we will as soon as we get a review sample.
